At Faith+Lead (pronounced "faith lead"), we equip Christian disciples and leaders to follow God into a faithful future.
Faith+Lead from Luther Seminary is the only non-degree theological learning platform uniquely combining trustworthy theological education, community, spiritual formation, and practices to meet the 21st-century challenges of the Church.
Faith+Lead emerged out of Luther Seminary’s 2017 vision statement: “The Holy Spirit calls Luther Seminary to lead faithful innovation for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a rapidly changing world.”
With our emphasis on theologically sound, accessible, and pedagogically rich learning, we offer a space where you can engage at your own pace, ensuring a journey tailored to your individual needs and schedule.
Recognizing that traditional degree programs alone were insufficient to help churches address a changing cultural environment, we began developing resources to meet the needs of today’s ministry landscape. Your generous donations to Luther Seminary support these great resources and digital ministries, including Faith+Lead, Enter the Bible, God Pause, Word & World, and Working Preacher. Your contributions help us continue providing valuable theological education and resources to nurture and equip faith leaders around the world to follow God into a faithful future.

Pivot 1: Posture
We can’t fix our way out of decline. Instead, we’re called to show up. Pay attention. Try things. The Spirit is already on the move—our job is to join in.
Pivot 2: Focus
Belonging to a church isn’t the same as following Jesus. Discipleship means learning his story, practicing his way, and living it out. Together.
Pivot 3: Structure
Church comes in more than one shape. Some gather in sanctuaries. Other around dinner tables, hiking trails, or community gardens. The Spirit shows up in them all.
Pivot 4: Leadership
The future isn’t all on the pastor’s shoulders. It’s time to unleash the gifts of the whole Body of Christ, side-by-side in mission.
Whether you’re a seasoned pastor, a small group leader, or someone stepping into ministry for the first time, Faith+Lead is designed to support you in real, tangible ways. Here’s how most Faith+Lead members use it:
