Educator, scientist and community connector are three ways to describe Heidi M.S. Ferris. Heidi started Growing Green Hearts LLC in 2012 to creatively address climate change, sustainability, water quality, interconnectedness and nature play. In addition to authoring EnviroSTEM books and curriculum; she builds partnerships, trains teachers and lifts up youth leadership. Heidi holds an MA in Environmental Education from Hamline University and is working to complete her doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Thomas University.
