Elizabeth Hood is the director of children, youth and family ministry for Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto, California. Prior to this position she was the youth director of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Simi Valley, California. She also serves as the hospitality team lead for the ELCA Youth Ministry Network and the co-adult lead of the Sierra Pacific Synod Youth Committee.

Hood wrote “Let the Children Come,” featured in Sundays and Seasons Lectionary Guide for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany (Augsburg Fortress, 2022). She earned her Masters in Children, Youth, and Family Ministry from Luther Seminary in 2024.
