Assistant to the Bishop for Formation and Communication, Southeastern Synod

Pastor Michael Jannett is the assistant to the bishop for formation and communication at the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He is also a pastor at three ELCA congregations and has over 20 years synod youth work experience.

He has led several workshops on the topics of youth ministry and the use of artificial intelligence in ministry. He created a YouTube channel for the application of Artificial Intelligence in ministry. He earned his M.Div. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC.

He is an avid fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, watching movies and reading for work and fun.
