Whether you're seeking credentialing or simply want to lead more collaboratively, this course will help you embody the heart of a coach, empowering others to step into their callings.
This 8-session course is designed for alumni of Coaching for Spirit-Led Leadership (formerly known as Segment One Coaching) and others who are ready to grow through doing. You’re Not Called to Do It Alone
The Rev. Dr. Alitz’s expertise is in the area of adult faith formation, coaching, and program coordination. Before joining the Luther staff in 2016, she had over twenty years of experience in congregational leadership in both mission-start and established congregations.
She has her ACC credentialing with the International Coaching Federation, trained with the Global Team Coaching Institute, and is well-known within ELCA and ecumenical circles for her work with adaptive leadership, developing online learning opportunities, and collaborating with various networks of educational and synodical professionals. Dr. Alitz’s role at Luther places her in a unique position to equip leaders to engage the Gospel in the 21st century by designing, piloting, and building out new business models for theological education and congregational leadership.
This is a synchronous course. Participants should plan on attending the Zoom sessions live and be prepared for active engagement each class.
Each participant will be expected to coach a classmate live in front of the class at least once during the course.
Participants can miss up to 2 non-required sessions and still receive credentialing credit for this course by watching the class video and submitting coaching observations.
