Tim is an Assistant Professor of Media Arts and Director of the Academic Media Center at Robert Morris University where he teaches courses in media culture and production. His research interests include animation and place, local production cultures, and inclusive practices in animation education. Tim’s work appears in Animation: An Interdisciplinary Journal, Animation and Advertising, Animation Practice, Process & Production, Animation Studies Journal, Reconceptualising Film Policies, and Animation Studies 2.0. Tim received his PhD from the University of East Anglia in the UK - writing on Indian animation culture. Tim is the treasurer of the Society of Animation Studies and serves on the editorial board of Animation Studies Journal. Tim enjoys introducing Griffin to kayaking and the emotional rollercoaster of supporting two relegation-threatened English football teams (OTBC).
